ABOUT / CREDO

Look far. Measure what is in front of us.

We observe change and measure the structures beneath it. We do not change direction simply because a trend moves. When the evidence changes, we update our judgment.

What we change. What we do.

MISSION

Build evidence into decisions.

We create conditions in which people and organizations can examine the material and make their own decisions.

VISION

Trace the evidence. Choose what comes next.

We work toward an information environment in which people can follow evidence and context, then decide by their own standards.

Measure. Structure. Verify. Return to practice.

Hold to principles. Update decisions.

Be stubborn about the purpose and flexible about the method. Look for structures, not trends. When the evidence changes, update the judgment.

  • Follow structures, not trends.
  • Build systems that last beyond the immediate answer.
  • Stay with the work until it is usable in practice.
  • Update the judgment when the evidence changes.

Business execution and research, working side by side.

SEARCHLIGHT combines practical leadership with research expertise to design, test, and implement systems that can be used in the real world.
